Our products are carefully crafted educational toys for children from the age of 2 to 10. They are made from durable non-toxic foam, and are brightly coloured and hygienic, as they do not absorb moisture. Our foam has a "shore-hardness"(density) of 30-35, versus the majority of Chinese imports of 10-12, so our product is a much better quality. "Flip-flops" which last for many years, are made from the same material.
The range was developed with the help of the Johannesburg Assessment Centre consisting of a team of psychologists, physiotherapists, remedial therapists, occupational therapists and teachers working in accordance with Outcomes Based Education and the best educational standards worldwide.
The products develop many abilities, including cognitive, social, literacy, mathematical, motor and cultural skills. They have a wide range of applications, both in the classroom and playroom.
The Nelson Mandela Children's Fund, Gauteng Department of Education, READ, and COUNT have successfully used and enjoyed Bright Kid Educational Toys.
Bright Kid products are non-toxic, ultra tough and durable. All the mats in the range can be cleaned in soapy water and are stain resistant. Spare parts are available.
